About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Manager to play a vital role in our fight against climate change. As a key member of our team, you will conduct market evaluations to ensure strategic supplier selection, drive costs down, and support Heirloom Carbon's growth. Your responsibilities will include procuring all construction materials (MEP) for our next deployment, developing cost-down strategies for scaling to larger deployments, and negotiating early facility discounts through well-structured supplier contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market evaluations to ensure strategic supplier selection
  • Drive costs down and support Heirloom Carbon's growth
  • Procure all construction materials (MEP) for our next deployment
  • Develop cost-down strategies for scaling to larger deployments
  • Negotiate early facility discounts through well-structured supplier contracts
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in construction environments, particularly with EPC delivery models or MEP parts and equipment procurement
  • Ability to evaluate suppliers' quality procedures to ensure they meet specifications and requirements
  • Experience establishing supply chains from scratch, analyzing detailed bids, and managing cost through design changes
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to assess make vs. buy decisions
  • Proven track record in relationship management
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
