Developer Community Liaison Role

As a key member of our developer outreach team, you will play a vital role in engaging directly with open source communities and developer-centric organisations. Your primary objective will be to communicate our vision and products for better open source development experiences, while also having a better feedback loop from those audiences to shape our offerings and priorities.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled individual who has a demonstrable passion for and engagement in open-source software.
  • The ideal candidate should have worked with real-world challenges developing and deploying software using Linux.
  • Experience with Linux software packaging (including Snaps, debs, charms, rocks, PIP, containers) is essential.
  • A deep understanding of current software packing issues and trends in the Linux ecosystem is necessary.
  • Contributions to open-source communities, software, and documentation are highly valued.
  • The successful candidate should be an engaging, vivacious speaker and presenter.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build trust and relationships are crucial.
  • Travel may be required for company events and partner conferences.
