A prominent manufacturing company in Mackay seeks an experienced CNC Programmer to generate programs manually and/or using CAD/CAM software (SURFCAM) for CNC milling machines.

  • Key requirements include CNC milling machining experience and residing within driving distance of Mackay.
  • Competitive salary: Circa $50 per hour, plus generous overtime pay and a loyalty bonus.

Your typical day will involve:

Programming and Optimizing CNC Operations
  • Generating accurate CNC programs manually or with CAD/CAM software (SURFCAM)
  • Proofing and optimizing programs for maximum efficiency on Siemens, Fagor, or Fanuc control systems
  • Performing precise mechanical measurements to ensure high accuracy
  • Interpreting technical drawings to guide machining operations

Collaboration and Quality Assurance
  • Collaborating with team members to meet deadlines while ensuring safety and quality compliance
