Senior Account Collector

About the Position:
- Conduct daily reviews and reconciliations of accounts receivable transactions to ensure accurate processing.
- Monitor customer accounts to prevent late payments and follow up on outstanding balances in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to billing and payment issues, providing clear explanations and resolutions.
- Maintain precise records of customer interactions and collection efforts to track progress and optimize results.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable is essential for this role.
- Prior experience in debt collection and relevant qualifications are highly valued.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in using accounting software, is crucial for success.
- While Simpro or MYOB Exo experience is not necessary, it is considered desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with attention to detail and accuracy, are essential for this position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with the capacity to work independently and meet deadlines, are required.
