Geology Technician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geology Technician to assist in the collection and processing of geological samples at our operations.

  • Metre marking, photographing, cutting, and sample collection must be completed efficiently and in line with core processing priorities.
  • Proper QAQC samples must be included in all submissions.
  • Sample submissions must be accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Transport of samples to the offsite laboratory is necessary when required.
  • Storage and thorough cataloguing of diamond core in the core farm must be completed according to procedure.
  • Maintenance of pulp and core library catalogues across the site is also required.

Requirements:

  • A valid C Class Western Australian Driver's Licence.

Preferred Requirements:

  • A current approved forklift ticket.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products.
  • Excellent numerical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to plan daily activities, and meet deadlines.
  • A St Johns Senior First Aid Certificate (desired).
  • Mechanical knowledge and skills (desired).
