Ravenswood, a leading educational institution, is seeking a passionate and trained RAD Ballet teacher to join its team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be highly organized, and possess the appropriate qualifications and teaching ability in RAD Exams Grade 1 through to Advanced, Pre-Primary and above technique classes, and safe dance principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lessons to students from beginner dancers to experienced examination candidates, and will have the opportunity to showcase their teaching skills through mid-year and end-of-year concert routines. Familiarity with the Progressing Ballet Technique or willingness to upskill and complete the course is also required.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the selected candidate will hold an up-to-date First Aid Certificate and be committed to maintaining a child-safe environment.

This part-time position involves working Tuesdays after school pm) and/or Saturdays pm), during term time. The timetable is fixed, but we are open to considering candidates who are only available for one of these shifts if both do not suit.
