We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal Child Health Nurse to join our dynamic team at Darebin City Council. As a key member of our Maternal and Child Health Service, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, family-focused Enhanced program in an Outreach model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive Maternal Child Health service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of families and children in our community.
  • Provide education and support to families on various aspects of maternal and child health.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Maternal Child Health.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Division 1 Registered nurse and midwife.
  • Postgraduate Maternal & Child Health qualifications.
  • At least 1 year MCH clinical experience. Preferably with some Outreach experience.
  • CPR and First Aid Level 1, required, including ability to give adult CPR kneeling on the floor.
  • Current Victorian driver's licence.
  • Current Working with Children's Card.
