Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to support our continued business success and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver civil engineering in line with project requirements, standards and relevant statutory requirements.
  • Design process plant platforms, access roads, drainage and associated infrastructure in remote and challenging terrain.
  • Ensure that civil design is delivered on time and according to required standard on each project or study.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project team members to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
  • Be involved in preparation of engineering proposals and monitor budgets, staying within assigned budget and report any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
  • CPENG/RPEQ certified or working towards chartered status.
  • Proven experience in Earthworks, Roadworks, and Drainage design engineering in a relevant industry, e.g. mining, mineral processing, materials handling, and heavy industrial.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, 12D, or Civil 3d is well regarded.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and oral.
  • Proven ability to manage, motivate and influence employees at all levels.
  • Commitment to mentoring and coaching of personnel.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel highly desirable.
