Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based at Cecil Park, NSW. You will work on a rotating roster (six days a week), alternating between day and night shifts over a three-week pattern. Your primary responsibility will be to operate counterbalance forklifts within designated process areas, performing tasks requiring high proficiency in forklift operation with a strong focus on safety.

  • Operate a 5-ton counterbalance forklift within designated process areas.
  • Perform tasks requiring high proficiency in forklift operation with a strong focus on safety.
  • Work on a rotating roster (six days a week), alternating between day and night shifts over a three-week pattern.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manual handling tasks, including loading/unloading equipment with packing materials, lifting, and inspecting bricks from the process line.
  • Inspect bricks for defects and sort accordingly.
  • Cover breaks for other operators when needed.
  • Assist with breakdown activities.
  • Other tasks assigned within your training/skill level.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid forklift license with demonstrated experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
  • A great work ethic and strong commitment to safe work practices.
  • Experience in a warehouse or similar role is desirable.
  • A strong commitment to safety awareness.
  • Willingness to learn and absorb new information and skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
