
Sustainable Employment Specialist

Our organization provides employment services to support individuals with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering clients to build better working lives. You will work closely with clients to identify their goals and aspirations, build their skills and job readiness, and support them through interviews and into employment.
You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident at the time of submitting your application to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Encourage and motivate clients through appropriate activities to find their own employment;
- Build relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for our clients;
- Place clients into sustainable employment leading to successful outcomes;
- Ensure all activity is appropriately recorded, documented, and adheres to compliance and/or contractual requirements;
- Provide exceptional service to clients, employers, and stakeholders throughout the process.
Requirements:
- Experience in customer service or a client-facing role;
- Demonstrated experience of working with people overcoming challenges;
- Able to confidently liaise with multiple external and internal stakeholders;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work towards key performance indicators (KPIs) and make placements that result in sustainable and lasting employment;
- Hold a current driver's license.
