
Event Leisure Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team of professionals in the delivery of exceptional recreation and leisure experiences. The role involves managing multiple venues, developing operational plans, and ensuring consistent quality services and programs are provided to local communities.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in venue management, finance, marketing, and sales, as well as experience in leading high-performance teams and developing lasting relationships with stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion, while fostering a positive work culture and adhering to ethical practices.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement operational plans to achieve business objectives
- Manage multiple venues, including staff, facilities, and resources
- Lead high-performance teams and develop lasting relationships with stakeholders
- Drive business growth and expansion through strategic planning and execution
- Foster a positive work culture and adhere to ethical practices
- Contract management experience
- Highly developed leadership skills, with experience in building successful teams and developing a high-performance culture
- Extensive experience in the strategic development and execution of operational, financial, and people plans to successful outcomes
- Demonstrable experience leading a dynamic and complex business operation, preferably from within the leisure, tourism, fitness, aquatic, retail, hospitality, or facility management industries
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or extensive experience in Centre/Facility Management or senior management experience in a related industry is highly desirable
You will demonstrate a strong strategic development and business planning background, with the ability to engage and develop lasting, positive relationships with various staff and stakeholders.
