Field Service Professional

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team in Port Hedland. As a key member of our mobile service and sales team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service and plant & machinery repair work to our customers.
The JobIn this hands-on role, you will travel to sites within Port Hedland and surrounding areas to replace hoses in breakdown situations or complete new installation work on plant & machinery. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with your group of key customers, both new and existing.
Requirements- A mechanical background is essential, with a trade certificate and/or previous experience within the Hydraulics industry being highly regarded.
- Previous hose assembly experience is not necessary but would be beneficial.
- A strong understanding of and commitment to faultless customer service is crucial.
- Strong verbal and written communication, numerical skills, and organisational abilities are required.
- You must have an underlying level of urgency balanced with strict attention to detail.
- A willingness to travel long distances to mine sites and stay overnight is essential.
This is a residentially based role in sunny Port Hedland, home to the largest bulk port by volume in the southern hemisphere. The successful candidate will enjoy above award wages and conditions and a light rigid vehicle for business use. A relocation allowance is available for the right candidate who may not currently live locally.
