Select People is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Landscaper to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including softscape construction, streetscape and playground creation, and team collaboration.

Job Description

In this role, you will be involved in building stunning landscapes from scratch, contributing to the development of beautiful streetscapes and engaging playgrounds on major projects. You will work closely with a dedicated team, learning from experienced professionals and benefiting from their guidance.

Responsibilities:
  • Softscape construction: From small-scale to large commercial sites, you'll have the chance to build stunning landscapes from scratch.
  • Streetscape and playground creation: Contribute to the development of beautiful streetscapes and engaging playgrounds on major projects.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated team, learning from experienced professionals and benefiting from their guidance.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Commitment to apprenticeship: Demonstrate your dedication to learning and growing in the landscaping industry by committing to a 3-year apprenticeship program.
  • Strong knowledge of WH&S practices: Prioritise safety at all times, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
  • Certificate II in Horticulture (highly regarded): Possession of this certification showcases your foundational knowledge and commitment to the field.
  • Effective communication skills: Collaborate seamlessly with team members and communicate professionally with site supervisors and clients.
  • Current manual driver's license: A valid license will enable you to travel to different work sites efficiently.
  • Own transportation: Ensure you have reliable transportation to reach various project locations.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annumBenefits
