Graduate Mining Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking the next generation of Mining Engineers to join our dynamic team. Our 24-month Graduate Mining Engineer Program offers newly qualified engineers hands-on experience in key areas of the mining cycle.

Graduates will rotate through essential underground operational roles, gaining invaluable experience that sets the stage for their future career. You'll apply your academic knowledge in a real-world underground mining environment, developing skills and expertise that align with our core values: People, Innovation, Safety, and Results.

Career Path:

  • Rotate through various operational roles, including Truck Operator, Service Crew, Charge-up, Bogger Operator, and Driller.
  • Advance to Project Engineer training, leveraging your academic knowledge and practical experience.
  • Pursue a technical career by transferring to Mining Plus (a Byrnecut Group entity), where you'll receive training in technical engineering services.

Requirements:

  • Availability to start in 2027.
  • A completed Mining Engineering degree.

The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria, including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made. The program is designed to equip graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the industry.
