This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in our underground mining operations. As the Underground Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our underground workforce, ensuring they are competent, engaged, and performance-driven.
Key responsibilities include:
- Directing, managing, and controlling all underground manning activities
- Identifying and implementing changes to improve underground production, quality, cost, safety, and environmental performance
- Driving continuous improvement and identifying broader growth opportunities
Requirements:
- First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
- 6+ years of relevant gold mining experience
- 3 to 5 years senior line management experience
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Strong demonstrated proactive approach to safety
- The ability and desire to obtain SSE ticket
