About the RoleThis role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our Enterprise Testing and Integrated Environments Release Service, driving the delivery of quality outcomes through meticulous planning, execution, and reporting of testing activities. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with business stakeholders and end-users to develop user acceptance testing strategies, ensuring seamless integration and effective problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities- Providing technical leadership in Quality Engineering tools, techniques, and processes, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Supporting business stakeholders and end-users in the planning, preparation, and execution of User Acceptance Testing, promoting effective collaboration and communication.
- Delivering high-quality testing outcomes, including test requirements, test cases, and strategy development, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand scope and determine appropriate test approaches, leveraging your expertise to drive results.
- Identifying environment and data requirements for testing activities, ensuring efficient and effective resource allocation.
- Developing and enhancing test automation skills to apply automation effectively in delivery, driving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- Contributing to platform integration tests, applying knowledge of CI/CD frameworks to validate and confirm traceability.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A strong background as a Senior Tester or Senior Quality Engineer, with experience in performance testing or performance quality engineering (PQE).
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, application architecture, and/or infrastructure architecture, with a focus on AWS/GCP.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and executing stress volume test suites, showcasing your technical expertise.
- Demonstrable experience in troubleshooting performance-related issues, highlighting your analytical skills.
- Proficiency in automation tools, including TOSCA, QTEST, LoadRunner Enterprise, and K6, with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to identify and address risks early in a challenging delivery environment, demonstrating your proactive approach.
- Prior experience in banking industry-related performance testing and working experience in developing utilities/services to facilitate the continuous PQE pipeline, an added bonus.
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank offers a competitive salary package, including:
$130,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
