Post Production Leadership Role

The role of a Post Production Lead is pivotal in overseeing video projects from editing to delivery. This position demands an expert with exceptional organizational and creative skills, capable of managing large data sets, delivering high-quality edits, and collaborating with motion designers.

This individual will work closely with the Content Lead and Producer to develop ideas, scope video productions, and oversee the post-production process. They will be responsible for editing various content outputs across different levels of complexity and overseeing a network of freelance editors to complete overflow work when needed.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience managing and completing video edits to an impeccable standard
  • A strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Red Giant Universe, and Frame.io

This role requires a highly organized and creative thinker with proven experience in developing narratives, efficiently selecting footage, and intuitively grasping pacing to hold viewers' attention.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Agency lead for all narrative editing work, including selects, story structure, and delegation tasks
  2. Briefing Bolster's motion design team and managing file handovers
  3. Ideation oversight and support across content briefs
  4. Creating compelling case studies for award submissions and showreels
  5. Proactively developing Bolster's video content offering and expanding it into higher budget realms
  6. Instituting and managing an agency-wide content review and feedback system
  7. Maintaining impeccable standards for all video edits
