Job Overview:

As an Occupational Medicine Doctor, you will provide comprehensive health services tailored to workers in high-demand industries. Your role will involve providing pre-employment medicals, ongoing workforce health assessments, fitness for work evaluations, return-to-work medicals, injury management, rehabilitation guidance, and independent medical examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct pre-employment medicals and ongoing workforce health assessments for employees in various industries
  2. Evaluate employee fitness for work and conduct return-to-work medicals
  3. Provide guidance on injury management and rehabilitation
  4. Develop and implement health surveillance programs for employees in mining, manufacturing, and trade sectors
  5. Perform independent medical examinations (IMEs)
Requirements:
  • Full registration with AHPRA
  • Fellowship in Occupational & Environmental Medicine (FAFOEM) or experience in occupational medicine
  • Ability to work independently within a corporate health setting
