The Product & Investing Solutions (P&IS) Crew drives the end-to-end design and management of CommSec's product portfolio, including Equities, Margin Lending, Cash and Derivatives. We develop and implement new products, features and services to empower Australians to grow their wealth.

As a Product Manager, you will partner with the P&IS Crew to lead strategic initiatives, deliver on our roadmap, address issues and incidents, and build a culture of continuous improvement. You will work with diverse stakeholders to deliver customer-focused outcomes through risk optimisation and product fulfilment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Turn Strategy into Reality: Support the Product Owner to bring the product strategy to life. Plan and manage initiatives across the squad to deliver customer and business outcomes.
• Product Delivery: Implement and lead projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered in a timely and effective manner for customers.
• Market Monitoring: Monitor the marketplace to assess industry trends and results, recommending new products or features.
• Customer Experience: Drive continuous improvement in the customer experience by reviewing complaints and breakpoints, refining product features and benefits, and optimising the digital experience.
• Problem Solving: Showcase a strong human-centred design mindset to address customer needs and problems, ensuring solutions are user-focused and aligned with customer expectations.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and address process inefficiencies and breakpoints, creating and implementing solutions that streamline processes and enhance efficient operations.
• Product Governance and Risk Management: Manage regular controls, robust product governance, identification of issues, timely escalations, and swift resolution of issues, focusing on leveraging opportunities for automation.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use product performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and adapt the product roadmap as necessary.
• Innovation: Drive curiosity to experiment and adopt AI to improve operational efficiency and the customer experience.

We Seek Skilled Professionals:

• A self-starter with demonstrated experience in banking or financial services, with proven experience in end-to-end product management, business analysis, risk management, or project delivery, with a strong customer focus.
• The ability to think analytically and use data to develop insights, make decisions, and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
• Strategic thinking with demonstrated success in leading and influencing to deliver initiatives.
• Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and ability to work flexibly through change.
• Experience working in an agile environment and enjoying collaborating with others.
• An RG146 accreditation, understanding of trading, other investment products, or remediation experience will set you apart from the competition.
• Tertiary qualifications in a Business/Commerce/Finance degree preferred.
