Job Opportunity: Secondary Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join our team at Tarneit Prep-9 College. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students and contributing to the development of our school community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects to students in Years 7-9, with a focus on developing their academic, social, and emotional skills. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans, and provide support to students who require additional assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Qualifications and experience in teaching and/or curriculum area specified for the position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
