Job Overview:

The Transport Driver role is a pivotal position within our organization, playing a crucial part in supporting the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

This role involves transporting clients to medical appointments, ensuring their safe and timely arrival. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, adhering to transport schedules, and efficiently completing transport bookings.

A key aspect of this role is fostering positive relationships with community organizations, hospitals, and other stakeholders, while contributing to continual improvement projects regarding patient safety and vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport clients safely and on time to designated locations
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle
  • Complete transport bookings efficiently and effectively
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with community organizations, hospitals, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives

  • Competitive hourly rate: $30.46 per hour
  • Permanent Part-time position with 12% Superannuation guarantee
