We are seeking a highly skilled Men's Health Specialist to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress in Alice Springs.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for providing high-quality comprehensive primary health care to clients accessing the Ingkintja Men's Clinic.
As a Men's Health Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team working together to promote the health and well-being of men in central Australia.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical services to clients including health assessments, treatment plans, and case management.
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Developing and implementing health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant nursing qualification (e.g. RN or Enrolled Nurse) with experience in primary health care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of cultural safety principles and practices.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
