Men's Health Specialist Opportunity in Central Australia

We are seeking a highly skilled Men's Health Specialist to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress in Alice Springs.

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing high-quality comprehensive primary health care to clients accessing the Ingkintja Men's Clinic.

As a Men's Health Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team working together to promote the health and well-being of men in central Australia.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical services to clients including health assessments, treatment plans, and case management.
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Developing and implementing health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant nursing qualification (e.g. RN or Enrolled Nurse) with experience in primary health care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of cultural safety principles and practices.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
