Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join Minara Resources as a highly skilled Mine System Engineer. We are seeking a talented professional to lead the development and implementation of maintenance plans for Operational Technology (OT) systems.

About the Role
  • Monitor and maintain mine site OT systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize system performance.
  • Work closely with the Team Lead to develop and implement maintenance plans for OT systems, ensuring seamless system operation.
  • Enhance in-pit communication infrastructure for full coverage, ensuring effective communication across the mine site.
  • Support the integration of CAS systems with Murrin Murrin operations, ensuring seamless system operation.
  • Respond to network and system incidents, ensuring OT security and minimizing downtime.
  • Liaise with IT to protect systems and data, managing OT system requirements and ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements for OT systems, including collision avoidance systems.
  • Collaborate with third-party providers and support change management processes, ensuring smooth system operation.
About You
  • You will have a tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline.
  • You will hold a WA 'C' class driver's licence.
  • You will have proficiency in Wi-Fi mesh networks, RF, and collision avoidance technologies.
  • You will have experience with mobile equipment and technology systems, including heavy or light vehicles.
  • You will possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You will have knowledge of or a willingness to learn OT and communication systems.
  • You will have exceptional computer skills, including integrated management systems and office applications.
