Lead the Way at Our Innovative High School

We are seeking a visionary and compassionate leader to join our team as the Head of School. As the driving force behind our school's mission, you will be responsible for shaping the educational experience of our students and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive educational strategy that aligns with our school's values and goals
  • Oversee the management of academic programs, student wellbeing, and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure compliance with key processes and procedures, including accreditations, registrations, and training
  • Prepare and present reports to key stakeholders, including the Board and Group CEO
  • Provide educational leadership to our dedicated staff base, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Build and maintain relationships with key school stakeholders, including students, parents, carers, and referral networks
  • Manage three direct reports, overseeing appraisals, training, and professional development
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience working within a school setting, with a proven track record of leadership and management
  • Exposure to working within a leadership role, with experience overseeing direct reports
  • Ability to engage, relate, and work sensitively with our target cohort of young people
  • Passionate, empathetic, and solutions-focused in nature, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Recognised qualification in teaching and current teaching accreditation
  • Previous experience working within a Special Assistance School is highly regarded
