About the Role

The University of Notre Dame Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic leader to fill the position of Deputy Head of School in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing & Midwifery, and Health Sciences. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of Health Sciences education at the University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the School, ensuring the highest standards of education and research.
  • Develop and manage academic programs and research initiatives, with a focus on health sciences.
  • Lead a diverse team effectively, providing guidance and support to staff and faculty.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, including industry partners and the wider academic community.
Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent research doctorate in a relevant field.
  • Experience in leadership management in higher education.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, assessment, and program evaluation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
