Apprentice Mechanic Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our workshop team as an Apprentice Mechanic, where you will gain invaluable on-the-job experience and undertake a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic.

You will be based at our Raymond Terrace Depot and work alongside experienced technicians to develop your skills and knowledge. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of mechanical matters within our diverse fleet, including light and heavy vehicles and small construction plant items for our outdoor workforce.

One of the key aspects of this role is the comprehensive training and support you will receive. You will have access to time in your work week to attend your formal training, and you will also have the opportunity to participate in our internal networking events, where you can meet and socialise with other Apprentices, Cadets and Trainees.

What We're Looking For
  • Demonstrated commitment to the completion of a Certificate III in Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • An understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS)
  • Access to reliable transport for attendance at both work and external training providers
  • Ability to work in a team environment
