Job Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity, working 4 days per week based in Moorebank.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end payroll services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement efficient payroll processes, utilizing accounting or ERP software.
  • Offer guidance and technical support to employees and key stakeholders on payroll-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely submission of required documents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll services.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and best practices.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll management, with a focus on end-to-end processes.
  • Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, as well as relevant accounting or ERP package knowledge.
  • Relevant qualification in accounts, bookkeeping, or similar field.
  • Sound knowledge of Worker's Compensation processes and ability to provide guidance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • Driver licence and own transport.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.

 

Desirable:

  • Accounts experience in a warehousing, transport, or logistics setting will be highly valued.

Working Hours: Flexible hours 4 days per week. Business is open to accommodate school-based hours.

Standard Office Hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00am - 5:30pm. Friday finishes at 3:00pm (early mark).
