We are seeking an exceptional hospitality leader to launch a new venue in a prime location.

This is a unique opportunity to establish and lead a brand-new team, driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The venue features:

  • A stylish public bar
  • A refined dining room focused on quality food and local produce
  • 20 beautifully appointed accommodation rooms
  • A mezzanine bar and vibrant deck

Located in the heart of Semaphore's bustling strip, the venue will attract both locals and tourists looking for high-quality food, drinks, and entertainment.

About the Role

You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the venue, including recruiting and developing a brand-new team across all departments, overseeing bar, dining, gaming, accommodation, and bottleshop operations, and driving service standards.

Key responsibilities include managing rosters, costs, GP%, wage control, and supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with all liquor licensing, WHS, HR, and company policies.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience managing a large, multi-department hospitality venue
  • A strong understanding of gaming compliance
  • The ability to lead and inspire teams, with a focus on training and culture building
  • Exceptional financial and operational controls
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A can-do attitude with flexibility to adapt as the venue evolves
