Job Description

This is an opportunity to excel in a leadership role where you will have the chance to guide and mentor other educators.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children. They will also be expected to foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

This position is ideal for someone who has experience in designing and assessing educational programs. You will need to have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).

We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality care and education to our children.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent as recognized by ACECQA
  • Current and valid Working with Children's Check
  • First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to guide, mentor, and provide direction to other educators
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and assessing educational programs
  • Ability to create an environment where all children can thrive and learn
  • Ability to work in partnership with other educators and external professionals
  • Proficiency in using relevant software for children's documentation and communication
