Job Title: Senior Counsellor for Alcohol and Drug Services

Job Description:

This position is part of a multidisciplinary team providing alcohol and drug services in the community. The team works closely with state offices to deliver high-quality healthcare and achieve improved outcomes for consumers, workforce, and the community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality alcohol and other drug treatment according to relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Provide specialist assessment and treatment services for individuals with complex needs.
  • Act as a consultant to other agencies regarding support and management of clients with alcohol and drug needs.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification approved by Occupational Board of Australia or Psychology Board of Australia or Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Registration with relevant occupational body.
  • Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualification in Alcohol and Other Drugs field, current driver's license.
About the Role:

This casual position requires a qualified senior social worker with significant case management experience.
