Job Opportunity:

Are you a skilled inventory professional looking for a challenging role where you can utilise your skills to drive business success?

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to oversee all aspects of inventory management on site.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-level stock control support through efficient execution of receipting, stocktakes, cycle counts, stock adjustments, and credit returns.
  • Manage damaged goods, order verification, out-of-stock and aged stock reporting, loss prevention initiatives, and the optimisation of product location accuracy to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
  • Lead a small team and ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.

You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate inventory processes, including stock receipting, cycle counts, stocktakes, adjustments, and returns. Additionally, you will perform root cause analysis of stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

As an Inventory Controller, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve customer KPIs while contributing to a safe working environment and upholding our safety culture.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing or transport environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and experience using RF and warehousing systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory best practices and reconciliation processes.
  • Proven ability to make informed decisions and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A passion for safety, with a proactive approach to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).
