Demolition Labourer Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic labourer to perform various manual demolition tasks using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sorts and stacks different materials for recycling and disposal.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Flexible and able to take direction in a dynamic environment.
  • Maintains all safety standards.
  • Maintains and secures tools and equipment on a daily basis.
  • Assists in loading and transportation of plant and equipment.
  • Holds a high level of attention to detail to ensure demolition works are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Responsible and trustworthy to complete tasks safely and efficiently, particularly when unsupervised.
  • Self-motivated and able to plan work to maintain production efficiency without constant specific direction.

The ideal candidate will have a Construction White Card, Work Safely at Heights certification, and a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical working hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday to Friday.
  • May vary from time to time due to workload demands.
  • Most work is based in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas with occasional work away from the region.

Requirements:

A Construction White Card, Work Safely at Heights certification and a valid driver's license.
