About the Role

Bellroy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing relationships with freight forwarders and courier services, and ensuring timely delivery of goods from suppliers to our warehouses and to our corporate customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate shipments and manage relationships with freight forwarders and courier services to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  2. Monitor lead times and logistics costs to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  3. Resolve logistical issues and delays promptly to minimize disruptions to our operations.
  4. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate better freight rates and develop shipment optimization strategies.
  5. Organize sample shipments for Quality Control and update the ETA of shipments in the ERP system.
  6. Handle inquiries from sales and operations teams, provide instructions to our remote support team for inbound processing, and approve logistics invoices.
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance logistics efficiency.
Requirements
  1. 2-3 years of experience in international logistics, preferably from freight forwarding or retail industries.
  2. Familiarity with transportation management and an understanding of various shipping methods (Sea, Air).
  3. Experience coordinating shipments and working with freight forwarders and courier services.
  4. A good understanding of INCOTERMS.
  5. Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures and associated documentation.
  6. An understanding of freight booking processes and transit lead times of international shipping routes.
  7. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
  8. Problem-solving skills to address logistical challenges and delays.
  9. Comfort using ERP software and proficiency in using spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
