Job Description\Entities of National Archives seek a digital preservation professional to oversee the ongoing development and implementation of their digital preservation agenda. This includes designing procedures for ensuring access to digitised and digital born records, as well as developing an in-depth knowledge of current and future collection needs.

\.p>Key Responsibilities:\\(ol type='1'>\\(li>Develop and implement digital preservation procedures to ensure safe and secure storage of archives.\\(li>Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and best practices in digital preservation.\\(li>Collaborate with IT staff to develop and test new digital storage solutions.\\(li>Work closely with teams to oversee and implement complex digital record management systems.\\(li>Provide high-level support for digital preservation formats, metadata, and standards.\\(p>Requirements:\\(ul>\\(li>Degree in information studies, archival or conservation science, or equivalent combination of training and experience.\\(li>Proven experience managing teams and performance.\\(li>Experience working with information technology staff to develop and implement digital solutions.\\(li>Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance.\\(p>Benefits:\\(ul>\\(li>Competitive salary and benefits package.\\(li>Opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects.\\(li>Professional development opportunities.\\(p>Eligibility:\\(p>The successful candidate will be required to undergo a thorough background check and obtain a Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance.
