Lead Nurse Unit Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nurse Unit Manager to join our Subacute team at Albury Wodonga Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of care standards, providing strong leadership and role modeling to ensure a high standard of service provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
- Develop and implement care standards and policies to ensure best practice and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of the Subacute service, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Eligibility to practice as a registered nurse with APHRA.
- Post-graduate qualification in nursing or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team structure in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated competence in patient-centered care and problem-solving skills at an advanced level.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive service-oriented culture that encourages sound patient care and stewardship, focusing on innovation and productivity improvement.
