Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and delivery on major projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing mechanical systems and components, as well as preparing detailed 3D models and drawings.


About the Role

This hands-on role involves working from concept through to completion, collaborating with a team of engineers, project managers, and trades to deliver high-quality outcomes. Key responsibilities include managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, utilizing excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Mechanical Systems and Components for Custom-Built Equipment and Enclosures
  • Prepare Detailed 3D Models, Drawings, and Documentation for Manufacturing
  • Support Projects from Concept Through to Delivery, Ensuring Technical and Quality Standards are Met
  • Work Closely with Fabrication and Production Teams to Resolve Technical Challenges
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Suppliers, and Clients to Provide Engineering Support

Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 Years Experience in Mechanical Design Within Manufacturing, Fabrication, or Heavy Industry
  • Strong Skills in CAD (SolidWorks or Similar) for 3D Modelling and Drafting
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Projects and Priorities in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail
  • Strong Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Abilities
