Senior Policy and Project Officer Position

This role contributes to the Office for Early Childhood Development's mission to create a fairer and better future for all children in South Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex policy, project, and change management functions that support reform objectives and strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating analysis and reporting to inform management decisions;
  • Managing contract and grants processes, including preparing specifications and participating in evaluation panels;
  • Building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program outcomes;

This position reports to the Senior Advisor, Aboriginal Workforce, and focuses on contributing to governance, project delivery, and strategic policy design related to Aboriginal children, families, and communities.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have experience in complex policy and program development, as well as high-level communication skills to engage stakeholders and foster collaboration.
