The Law Society of NSW is seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food and beverage services to our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the setup, preparation, and execution of all in-house catering services, including boardroom meetings, daily tuck shop orders, and small evening committee meetings.
- Prepare and serve food, including making and portioning sandwich platters, making salads, reheating and plating canapés, and basic baking.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, coffee station, dining areas, and boardrooms.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the broader team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Previous experience in food preparation and customer service.
- Safe Food Handlers Certificate and Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation.
- Basic barista skills and ability to work on a roster, including evening work.
- Computer literacy and experience using MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
