Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Manager to lead our finance team at one of the most prestigious Catholic schools in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane.

This is a 4-month fixed-term contract opportunity for an accomplished financial professional with a passion for education and leadership.

About You

  • You will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in finance roles, preferably within the education sector.
  • A Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) or equivalent qualification, alongside CPA or CA certification, is essential for this position.
  • Your expertise in financial analysis and reporting will enable you to provide strategic insights and drive business growth.
  • A Blue Card and National Police check are mandatory requirements for this role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a school environment is advantageous but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, ensuring seamless financial management and compliance.
  • Manage financial activities within budgetary constraints, providing financial analysis and reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Supervise finance staff and provide training and development as needed.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to address financial concerns and provide guidance.
  • Assist the Executive Director with financial, resource, and business management of the College.

What We Offer
