We are seeking a skilled Hatchery Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about animal welfare and wants to make a positive impact.

About the Role
  • Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (no Wednesdays)

The role involves working in a fast-paced hatchery environment, sorting, vaccinating and assessing day-old chicks.

Key responsibilities include ensuring high standards of animal welfare, workplace health and safety, and biosecurity are consistently achieved.

Requirements
  • Ability to stand for the full shift and lift up to 15kg
  • No birds at place of residence
  • Full working rights

This role offers ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as the chance to transition into a permanent position.
