About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Urban Development Specialist to join our Brisbane team. As a senior member of our civil design team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions for a diverse portfolio of projects.

This is a senior position where you'll lead design work from concept through to detailed documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and local council requirements.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and producing detailed civil design for roads, drainage, earthworks, water, sewer, and utilities.
  • Reviewing and improving design processes to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Collaborating closely with engineers, architects, planners, and landscape architects to create fully integrated design solutions.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers and engineers.
  • Supporting the preparation of project bids, proposals, and budgets.
  • Representing us in client and authority meetings to maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth project delivery.
What We Need From You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A recognized qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in Urban Development.
  • Advanced skills in 12D and CAD software.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
