Pharmacist Role Overview

Clinical Trials and Cancer Care Specialists are sought after to provide comprehensive medication management and lead clinical trial processes within a dynamic multidisciplinary team at John Flynn Private Hospital.

This permanent full-time opportunity will see you delivering patient-centered pharmacy services, emphasizing medication safety and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Perform clinical assessments and offer patient-specific recommendations.
  • Compounding, dispensing and managing clinical trial drugs and supplies.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders for training implementation.
  • Implement clinical trial processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current unconditional Pharmacist Registration.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Team-oriented and passionate about providing specialised patient care.
  • Previous experience and/or formal study in cancer care highly regarded.
  • Clinical Trials experience highly desirable.
