Pharmacist Opportunity in Clinical Trials and Cancer Care

Are you a skilled Pharmacist looking to specialize in cancer care? We have a permanent full-time opportunity for a talented individual to join our expert Pharmacy team at John Flynn Private Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient-centric pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing medication safety and optimization.
  • Perform clinical assessments, drug therapy monitoring, and offer patient-specific recommendations.
  • Compounding, dispensing, and managing clinical trial drugs and supplies.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including project management, CRO partners, and internal staff for training implementation.
  • Implement clinical trial processes and procedures and efficiently prepare documentation to be used on clinical trials.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current unconditional pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
  • A high level of computer literacy, including systems knowledge of CHARM, Merlin, and Microsoft Office.
  • Team-oriented, enjoys collaboration and passionate about providing specialized patient care.
  • Previous experience and/or formal study in cancer care and the ability to perform aseptic complex compounding is highly regarded.
  • Clinical trials experience highly desirable, including knowledge of GMP, GCP, sterile compounding, and clean room work.
