Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Place Ave Maria.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality resident-focused and clinical care, utilising a person-centred approach. You will also supervise and lead a team of carers and nurses, demonstrating our core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient-centered care, prioritising the needs of our residents.
  • Supervise and lead a team of carers and nurses, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Take an active role in getting to know our residents and their families, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Undertake assessments, treatment, and documentation to the highest standard, ensuring accurate and timely recording of resident information.

Requirements

  • Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve.
  • A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of or be in the process of obtaining:

  • A recognised tertiary qualification as a Registered Nurse and current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated experience working in Residential Aged Care, with a proven track record of achievement.
  • A National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance and current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination, and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

What We Offer

At Mercy Aged and Community Care Ltd, we offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
