About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Ventia, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing instrumentation, communication, and monitoring systems throughout our tunnels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems, including instrumentation and communication equipment
  • Conduct troubleshooting and fault-finding to identify and resolve issues with tunnel systems
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintenance activities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of tunnel systems
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Trade-qualified Electrician with experience in electrical and electronic systems
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of instrumentation and communication equipment
  • Strong understanding of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and traffic control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • NSW Drivers License (MR or greater)
  • Confined space entry ticket
  • Working from Elevated Work Platforms ticket
  • White Card
