**Job Title:** District Mechanical Officer
">We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team as a District Mechanical Officer.
As a District Mechanical Officer, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and approved modifications to fleet assets in accordance with relevant safety standards and CFA maintenance procedures.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks on fleet vehicles and equipment;
- Performing diagnostic repairs and maintenance on fleet assets;
- Conducting regular inspections of fleet assets to ensure they are properly maintained and functioning correctly;
- Assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance programs to improve fleet efficiency and effectiveness;
To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record of maintaining high levels of mechanical skill and attention to detail. You should also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
In addition to your technical skills and experience, you must also meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Motor Mechanic Qualification;
- Hold a Heavy Rigid Driver Licence (or be willing to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe);
- Have a First Aid L2 certification (or be willing to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe);
