Working under the supervision of a qualified Cummins Technician, you will learn everything that comes with the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products.

• Mechanical starter toolkit provided upon commencement.
• Obtain a nationally recognized Certificate III trade qualification.
• Complete off-the-job TAFE/Registered Training Organization study.
• Receive structured on-the-job training under the supervision of Regional Capability Trainers and qualified technicians and supervisors in your workshop.
• Gain experience working on a range of Cummins engine products.
• Improve your technical expertise by completing a range of engine product training with Cummins Technical Trainers as you progress through your apprenticeship.

• Undergo a Certificate III trade qualification while developing practical skills in diagnosing and repairing Cummins engines and products.
• Participate in on-the-job training and off-the-job study to earn the Certificate III trade qualification.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support workshop operations and safety.

• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• A passion for working with our products and in the industry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent language, literacy, and numeracy skills.
• Right to work in Australia; willingness to work across regional areas and rotate through different departments to gain experience on automotive, industrial, marine, and mining engine products as you progress through your apprenticeship.
• Preference to have completed year 12 or equivalent.
• A strong focus on safety and wellbeing that will lead to a successful career at Cummins.
