Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced nurse with a passion for clinical leadership to oversee the implementation and management of clinical products within our theatre team.

The Role
  • To develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of clinical product usage, consumption and purchasing processes.
  • To ensure adherence to procurement contracts and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • To support stock control through effective SAP system maintenance and reporting.
  • To enhance patient care by optimising product availability, quality and usage.

This role will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality patient care. You will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Perioperative Management team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of care in line with hospital values and strategic direction.

Requirements
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a perioperative specialty as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience with perioperative clinical products and their applications.
  • Ability to work shift work roster and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Post-graduate qualification or working towards one.
  • Excellent time management, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
