
Injury Case Manager

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex or critical cases in a biopsychosocial framework, utilising a holistic approach to injury management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialised injury management services for physical and psychological cases of a complex nature, utilising a biopsychosocial approach and adhering to relevant legislation and policies.
- Offer strategic guidance and support to the Injury Management team, aligning with quality assurance principles.
- Develop and implement targeted injury management, rehabilitation, and return-to-work strategies, programs, coaching, and training.
- Prepare and review briefings for executive management on complex decisions and create documentation to facilitate actions under relevant industrial instruments.
- Conduct injury management case audits and overall evaluations to support continuous improvement of internal processes and identify opportunities for stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
- Mandatory: Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and/or current membership of the relevant professional association.
- Desirable: Qualifications in a medical or allied health-related discipline (e.g. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Exercise Physiology, or other related health disciplines).
- Essential: Previous demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: injury management, workplace rehabilitation, allied health, or a position with a strong return-to-work focus.
- Additional: A current driver's licence is desirable as some intrastate travel may be required.
