Assistant Service Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our service department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and motivating a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff, acting as a primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, concerns, and providing exceptional service.

This role requires a strong understanding of automotive service processes and technical knowledge, as well as excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and lead a team effectively, with proficient computer skills, including familiarity with service-related software and tools.

  1. Maintain high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction through effective supervision and coaching.
  2. Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and implement service strategies to meet company goals.
  3. Ensure all customer interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, concerns, and providing exceptional service.
  • Maintain high standard of quality control and customer satisfaction.
